Job Responsibilities

 The process of using digital technologies to create new — or maintain, optimise existing — business processes, improve efficiencies in processes, deliver value through cost effective solutions, improvisation of system reliability and customer experiences to meet changing business and market requirements. Manage an organization's data and content as a strategic asset.  Develop, configure, operate, maintain, troubleshoot & support and administer the IT applications in scope like OpenText Extended Enterprise Content Management (xECM) , Document management systems, IBM BAW/ Business Automation Workflow (BAW). Take ownership of the application and ensure quality deliverables through best practices.  Key responsibilities often include:  a) Strategy & Governance: Defining the vision for content and process automation to meet business objectives and regulatory compliance. b) Integration: Ensuring seamless integration with core enterprise applications like SAP, Analytics, data lake, Mail systems, HR systems, etc c) Lifecycle Management: Overseeing the entire application lifecycle, from design and development to deployment and maintenance. d) Team Leadership: Managing teams of developers, business analysts, and QA professionals who specialize in these platforms. e) Data Management: Overseeing the processes and technologies for data capture, storage, integration, and disposal across different systems f) Compliance & Risk Management: Ensuring compliance with relevant data regulations and standards, minimizing risks related to data breaches or mismanagement. g) Business Intelligence & Analytics: Enabling the use of data for reporting and analytics to extract actionable insights and improve business processes and performance. h) Leadership & Change Management: Directing information resources, collaborating with stakeholders across the organization (IT and business teams), and fostering a culture that values information as an asset.  i) Making system self-reliant, by reducing dependency on SI partner (or eliminating them completely) j) Building and nurturing a high-performing IT team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation, or enhancing team capabilities through targeted training programs. k) Responsible for managing the software architectural design, configuration, and development, run (operational support) and change management; in an agile way with a DevOps mindset l) Implement continuous improvements with focus on quality, stability, usability, maintainability. m) Ensure that applications are appropriately and sufficiently monitored to provide real-time observation of health conditions n) Coordinate with outsourcing partners on new requirements and ad-hoc operational requests and ensure implementation thereof o) Ensure availability of applications / systems and infrastructure through real-time monitoring, events and alarms management etc. p) Ensure that disaster recovery programs are prepared and implemented to provide business continuity and disaster recovery q) Monitor, control, and perform corrective actions based on problem management methodology pertaining to IT Services, tools, systems and applications r) Work with the GRC team and assist them to conduct audit and assurance activities
